VESTAL, N.Y.-- Junior forward Cameron Keith had a goal and two assists, leading No. 3 Binghamton (11-5-3) to a 3-1 win over New Hampshire (7-7-4) in an America East Men's Soccer Quarterfinal game on Saturday night at the Bearcats Sports Complex. With the victory, the Bearcats advance to the conference semifinals for the sixth consecutive season and will travel to No. 2 Albany on Wednesday for a 1 p.m. game.

"I thought our guys came out great offensively tonight," head coach Paul Marco said. "Whether you win by one goal or more is not important but it was great to finish as well as we did."

Keith opened the scoring just 6:45 into the game when he ripped a shot into the net from 18 yards out. Freshman forward Andy Tiedt was credited with the assist. In 14th minute, Keith set up senior midfielder Cody Germain who shot the ball in the net from close range.

In the 23rd minute, the Wildcats trimmed the deficit to 2-1 on a goal by Rob Gerum. Scott Rowling was credited with the assist. Less than a minute later, however, Keith found senior midfielder Darren McAllister and fired a long pass in front of the goal. McAllister fired it home for his second goal of the season.

New Hampshire outshot Binghamton 20-11 but junior goalkeeper Jason Stenta made eight saves to protect the lead.

NOTES: Keith leads the Bearcats with eight goals and 19 total points. He now has six career games with at least three points ... Germain scored his third career post season goal and his third career game winner. In eight career America East Tournament games, Germain has three goals and an assist.
