BU men's soccer loses 4-0 to first-place Boston University
Terriers score three times in decisive second half

BOSTON, Mass.-- Boston University (10-4-1, 5-1-0 AE) scored three times in the second half en route to a 4-0 win over Binghamton (4-6-4, 2-2-2 AE) in an America East men's soccer game on Wednesday night at Nickerson Field. The Terriers clinch the America East regular-season title while the Bearcats suffer their second straight setback.

Aaron O'Neil scored the lone goal of the first half in the 40th minute, giving the Terriers a 1-0 advantage. Boston blew the game open with two goals in a span of seven minutes to go up 3-0 in the 60th minute. Ryan Berube and Shea Ryan scored during that stretch. Vinciente Colmenares iced the game in the 80th minute.

Boston outshot Binghamton 21-9 for the game.

Binghamton returns home to face New Hampshire on Saturday at 7 p.m.
