Men's soccer drops a 1-0 decision at Boston University
Second-half tally hands Bearcats first setback in conference play

Box Score

BOSTON, Mass.-- Sophomore Dan Schultz netted the match's lone tally with less than ten minutes remaining in regulation leading Boston University (6-1-4, 1-0-1 America East) a 1-0 victory over visiting Binghamton (4-6-3, 2-1-0) in an America East Conference men's soccer game at Nickerson Field on Saturday evening.

In what was a tightly-contested affair, Schultz broke the scoreless deadlock at the 80:47 mark striking home the eventual game-winner from eight yards out off teammate Jarryd Goldberg's feed.

Each team registered nine shots on goal apiece as redshirt freshman Jason Stenta (Binghamton, N.Y.) posted six saves for Binghamton, while his Terrier counterpart, Hrafn Davidsson, turned away seven efforts.

Binghamton returns home on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. conference tilt with Hartford.
