men's soccer ties unbeaten Colgate 1-1, wins Red Raider Classic
nets game-tying goal, named MVP of tournament
HAMILTON, N.Y.-- Senior back Kyle Manscuk scored for the third
game in a row, leading the Binghamton (1-4-1) to a 1-1 deadlock
with Colgate (3-0-3) in the final game of the Red Raider Classic
on Sunday afternoon. The Bearcats won the team title and Manscuk
was named the tournament MOP.
Manscuk scored the game-tying goal in the 69th minute off a scissor
pass from junior midfielder Ryan Walter. In the process, he became
the first Binghamton player to score in three consecutive games
since Charles Darkwah in 2004.
Binghamton outshot the Red Raiders 22-16.
The Bearcats host Cornell on Sunday at 4 p.m.
