ITHACA, N.Y. -- Stephen Reisert had a goal and an assist, powering Cornell (3-1-2) to a 4-0 win over Binghamton (3-4-0) in a non-conference men's soccer game on Wednesday night at Berman Field. The loss snapped the Bearcats' four-game unbeaten streak against the Big Red, dating back to 2007.

Reisert assisted on Patrick Slogic's game-opening goal in the 25th minute and scored in the 36th minute, giving Cornell a 2-0 lead at the half. Cornell's final two goals came in a span of eight minutes midway through the second half. Tyler Regan scored in the 62nd minute and was followed by Matt Kagle in the 70th minute.

The Big Red's domination extended to the shot count, where they held a 23-5 advantage.

Binghamton returns home on Saturday at 7 p.m. to face Adelphi on Homecoming Weekend. The match will be televised regionally by Time Warner Sports.
