Terry named to COSIDA Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team

Complete Academic All-District Squads

VESTAL, N.Y.-- Senior midfielder Chris Terry has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). He earned second-team honors.

To be nominated for the distinction, a student athlete must excel on the field as a starter or important reserve, and in the classroom by maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.30. Student Athletes who receive first team recognition will be named to the national ballot.

A biology major, Terry currently has a 3.90 overall GPA. An America East Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient each season, he has started all 18 games for the Bearcats this year. In 2008, Terry was inducted to the National College Athlete Honors Society.

Terry is the second player to have earned COSIDA's Academic honor during Binghamton's Division I era. Charles Darkwah earned first-team All-District and third-team national honors in 2004.
