Keith named America East Conference Men's Soccer Co-Player of the Week; Bearcats now receiving votes in NSCAA/adidas Top 25 Poll

VESTAL, N.Y. --Accolades continue to pour in for sophomore forward Cameron Keith (Aberdeenshire, Scotland) who has been named the America East Conference Men's Soccer Co-Player of the Week. He shares the award with Albany goalkeeper Steward Cues.

Keith has now earned Player of the Week honors two consecutive weeks from the America East. In addition, he was named to the College Soccer News National Team on Monday.

On Saturday night against Boston, Keith scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner with 16 seconds left in the first sudden-death overtime period, as the Bearcats won 2-1. Keith, who leads the Bearcats with five goals and 11 total points, is averaging a conference-best 0.83 goals and 1.83 points per game.

Binghamton is 8-2-0 (1-0-0 in the America East) and is now receiving votes in both major polls. In the Oct. 9 NSCAA/adidas Top 25 poll, the Bearcats are the sixth team receiving votes. In addition, they are ranked fourth in the NSCAA/adidas Northeast Region poll.

In Monday's College Soccer News Top 30 National Poll, Binghamton was also the sixth team receiving votes.

The Bearcats host UMBC (5-3-2, 1-0-0 AE) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Retrievers are currently ranked No. 10 in the NSCAA/adidas Northeast Region poll.
