Complete MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List

VESTAL, N.Y.--Junior forward Cameron Keith (Aberdeenshire, Scotland) has been named to the Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy watch list for the upcoming men's soccer season. He is one of 48 Division I players in the nation, as well as the first-ever player from Binghamton, to be selected for the list.

Considered the highest individual honor in intercollegiate soccer, the recipients of the MAC's Hermann Trophy are selected by Division I head coaches who are current members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. A list of 15 semifinalists is selected by a coaches committee in November, with three finalists announced in early December. They will invited to the Missouri Athletic Club in St. Louis, Mo., for a news conference on Jan. 9, 2009, where the winner will be announced, with a presentation banquet following.

Keith was named the 2007 America East Conference Striker of the Year and earned first-team NSCAA All-Region honors. He scored a conference best 10 goals last season and ranked 18th among all Division I players with 0.63 goals per game.

Binghamton, the two-time defending America East regular season champions, opens up its 2008 campaign against Duquesne on Aug. 29 at 5 p.m. at the West Virginia Tournament. The Bearcats finished 14-6-0 last season.
