Keith named America East Men's Soccer Player of the Week

[America East Conference Release...]

VESTAL, N.Y.-- Junior forward Cameron Keith has been named America East Player of the Week for Oct. 20-26. It marks the first time this season and the third time in his career that he has earned the weekly accolade.

Keith recorded his fourth career multi-goal game in Binghamton’s 2-0 win over New Hampshire on Saturday night. He now leads the Bearcats with seven goals and 15 total points.

The 2007 America East Striker of the Year, Keith has scored 17 goals (eight of which have been game winners) in less than two seasons at Binghamton. He is tied with Graham Munro (2002-05) for the second-most goals by a Binghamton player since the program moved up to the NCAA Division I level in 2001. Charles Darkwah (2002-04), the America East Striker of the Year four years ago, ranks first with 19 goals.

The Bearcats (9-4-3, 4-2-0) have clinched a spot in the America East Tournament for the sixth consecutive year. They host Stony Brook on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in their final regular season game of the year.

NOTE: Keith's three America East Player of the Week awards ties junior goalkeeper Jason Stenta for the most all-time in program history.
