Narode and Munro named to PDL All-Eastern Conference Team

Complete 2007 PDL All-Conference Teams

VESTAL, N.Y. - Senior midfielder Matt Narode (Glenmont, N.Y.) and former All-America defender Graham Munro have been named to the Premier Development League (PDL) All-Eastern Conference Team. Narode has been competing this summer with his hometown Albany Admirals and was the only all-conference selection from his squad while Munro was one of two picks from the Cape Cod Crusaders.

Narode enters his senior season at Binghamton having been an instrumental part of the men's soccer program the past two years. He led the Bearcats in scoring as a sophomore (seven goals) and was named second-team America East All-Conference last season.

Munro's legacy at Binghamton has long been secure. He was named the America East Conference Defender of the Year three times, first-team all-conference four times, All-New York Region three times and was a third-team All-America selection by College Soccer News as a senior in 2005.

Binghamton is the defending America East Conference champion and has advanced to the past four conference title games. The Bearcats, who also won the conference crown in 2003, open their season at Radford on Sept. 1 at 3:30 p.m. On Sept. 29, Binghamton hosts Cornell in its first-ever home game at the new Bearcats Sports Complex.
