Binghamton men's soccer loses 1-0 at Stony Brook

STONY BROOK, N.Y.-- Leonardo Fernandes scored in the 48th minute, leading Stony Brook (2-9-2) to a 1-0 win over Binghamton (6-5-1) in an America East soccer game on Saturday night at LaValle Stadium. The victory was the first by the Seawolves over the Bearcats since 2001.

Leonardo's goal was his fourth of the season and was assisted by Wilber Bonilla.

Each team had 10 shots on goal for the game.

Binghamton returns home to face defending conference champion Boston on Friday at 8 p.m. Fox Soccer Channel will air the game live.
