Binghamton men's soccer loses 1-0 at New Hampshire

Box Score

DURHAM, N.H. -- Sophomore forward Chris Banks netted his second goal of the season, leading New Hampshire (5-4-5, 2-1-2 AE) to a 1-0 win over Binghamton (11-4-0, 3-2-0 AE) in an America East Conference men's soccer game on Wednesday night. The loss snaps the Bearcats' two-game winning streak.

Banks, the 2006 America East Striker of the Year, took a pass from junior midfielder A.J. Dubois and fired a shot from 18 yards out to the left of the goal. His shot went inside the far post at the 66:33 mark of the game.

Binghamton outshot New Hampshire 8-6, but managed only one shot during the decisive second half of the game.

The Bearcats return home to face Albany at 7 p.m. on Saturday in their final regular season game of the year.
