Binghamton men's soccer plays to 0-0 tie at Wisconsin-Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, Wisc.-- Binghamton (2-1-2) played to a scoreless tie at Wisconsin-Milwaukee (1-2-2) in the opening round of the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Men's Soccer Tournament on Friday evening. In the process, the Bearcats extended their unbeaten streak to four games.

Junior goalkeeper Jason Stenta made five saves to record his second shutout of the season and the 22nd of his career.

"I thought our guys did quite well tonight," head coach Paul Marco said. " I thought we started the match quite well and were on top of the match in the first half against a very good team that is very big and athletic."

Binghamton faces Wisconsin-Madision on Sunday at 1 p.m. EST in the final round of the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Tournament.
