East All-Conference Teams Sophomore Sven Vloedgraven was voted the Player of the Year by the conference coaches. Vloedgraven, BU's No. 1 player, went 7-1 at the top spot down the stretch and won both his singles matches at the America East Championship. He also earned first team all-conference honors for the second straight year. Vloedgraven is 26-9 overall, 17-4 in duals. Joining him on the singles first team are junior No. 2 and captain Moshe Levy, freshman No. 3 Gilbert Wong and sophomore No. 4 Arnav Jain. Wong, who owns a BU-best 31 match victories and a 17-3 dual mark, was named Rookie of the Year. He previously was selected as the tournament's Most Outstanding Player after clinching BU's team title with a straight-set win at third singles against Stony Brook. Freshmen Alexandre Haggai and Rafael Rodrigues earned second team singles honors at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively. In doubles, the tandem of Levy and Jain earned first-team honors at the No. 2 position. Vloedgraven and Wong were second team at No. 1 and Haggai and Rodrigues were second team at No. 3. |
