BU men's tennis falls at No. 74 Brown 5-2

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Host Brown (10-2), ranked No. 74, captured the doubles point before winning four of six singles matches in a 5-2 win over Binghamton men's tennis (2-11) Saturday afternoon.

Senior Sven Vloedgraven, ranked No. 95 in the country, posted a 6-4, 6-3 win at the top spot, improving to 21-7 overall, 10-2 in duals. Junior Alexandre Haggai provided BU's other win at the fourth spot - a three-set triumph. Haggai dropped the opening set before roaring back for a 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 win. Senior No. 2 Arnav Jain lost for only for third time in 13 duals this season - in a third-set tiebreak. Junior No. 3 Gilbert Wong also had a tight match that swung on a tiebreak in the second set.

The Bearcats continue spring break action with a match at William & Mary on Tuesday afternoon.
