Immediate Release: April 19, 2005 Binghamton sophomore No. 1 Dan Hanegby (Herzliya, Israel), currently ranked No. 92 in the country, rolled a 6-1, 6-4 singles win over Ira Reibeisen, improving to 29-7 overall, 19-4 in dual matches. Freshman No. 3 Alex Dobrin (Flushing, N.Y.) picked up a narrow 7-6, 6-4 win, raising his record to 25-5 overall, 20-3 in duals. Senior Krishna Vallabhaneni (Lagrangeville, N.Y.), playing in his final collegiate matches on the West Gym Courts, teamed with junior Edwin Gerard (Bayside, N.Y.) for a 8-3 win at third doubles. In four seasons, Vallabhaneni is 47-23 in doubles matches, including a 6-1 mark this year. Binghamton will now await the pairings for the America East Championship, which begins on April 29 in New Haven, Conn. The two-time defending champion Bearcats are all but assured of receiving the No. 1 seed.
