Binghamton men's tennis defeats Buffalo 5-2 on West Gym Courts

VESTAL, N.Y. - The Binghamton men's tennis team (3-0) looked strong in scoring a 5-2 win over SUNY rival Buffalo (1-1) Sunday afternoon on the West Gym Courts. The Bearats captured five of six singles matches to post their fourth straight win in the all-time series against the Bulls.

Sophomore No. 1 Dan Hanegby (Herzliya, Israel) rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 singles win, raising his season record to 7-1 overall. Freshman Alex Dobrin (Flushing, N.Y.) moved up to No. 3 and posted a 6-1, 6-2 win. Dobrin is 8-2 overall.

The Bearcats conclude their abbreviated fall season at the ITA East Regional, hosted by Virginia Tech on October 22-24.
