Binghamton men's tennis blanks Carthage 7-0 in final Florida match

ORLANDO, Fla. - Binghamton men's tennis (10-5) won for the fifth time in six matches with a convincing 7-0 triumph over Carthage Wednesday afternoon. The Bearcats won two of three doubles matches before sweeping all six singles contests.

After dropping the first set 6-0, sophomore Alex Dobrin (Flushing, N.Y.) rallied to defeat Brad Livingston at first singles. Senior Brian O'Connor (New Rochelle, N.Y.) scored a 6-4, 7-5 win at No. 2 and junior Aurelio Martinez (Oaxaca, Mexico) posted a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 3 - his third straight victory.

Binghamton is off until hosting Quinnipiac on April 1 at the West Gym Courts.
