MEN'S TENNIS
Bearcats defeat Concordia 6-1

In their final home match of the season, Binghamton (13-6) defeated Concordia 6-1. The Bearcats captured five out of six singles matches and all three doubles matches in the win. BU takes a strong overall record into the America East Conference Tournament, held at Yale University April 26-28.

Akshay Rao led the way for Binghamton, posting a 6-4, 6-4 win at first singles and teaming with Dmitriy Litvak for an 8-5 pro-set win at first doubles. Litvak also scored a 6-3, 6-4 win at second singles for the Bearcats, who captured 10 out of 13 sets in singles play. The win for Litvak was his 11th of the season and improved his career record to 59-44. With one more win, Litvak can move into a tie for fourth place on BU's all-time win list. Brad Sherwood looked strong in posting a 6-0, 6-3 win at fourth singles. He teamed with Brad Davidoff for an 8-3 win at the second doubles spot. Steve Spencer posted a 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 win at fifth singles and Evan Gotlob wasa a 6-3, 6-2 winner at number six. Spencer and Krishna Vallabhaneni were 8-6 winners at third doubles.
