BU men's tennis rallies past Concordia 4-3 on road

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Binghamton men's tennis (4-2) continued its three-match weekend road trip with a 4-3 victory over host Concordia College Saturday afternoon. The Bearcats dropped the doubles point but won four of the six singles matches to claim the team victory. Concordia advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division II Championship last spring.

"We gritted out a win," head coach Michael Starke said. "We had some great spirit out there."

After dropping two of the three doubles matches and losing the first two completed singles matches, BU trailed 3-0 before senior Richemn Mourad (Sao Paulo, Brazil) earned the first point with a three-set win at number one singles.
