Binghamton men's tennis edges Concordia 5-4

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. - Visiting Binghamton (2-4) won four of six singles matches en route to a 5-4 men's tennis win over nationally ranked Division II program Concordia College (#32) Friday night.

Junior No. 1 Faisal Mohamed (Lynbrook, N.Y.) rolled to a 6-1, 6-2 win over the 34th-ranked player in the country and freshman No. 2 Pierre Clavel (Lyon, France) also won in straight sets. Mohamed raised his overall record to 14-7. Earlier, he teamed with junior Alex Dobrin (Flushing, N.Y.) for an 8-6 win at first doubles.

Binghamton faces Marist Saturday night in Poughkeepsie.
