BU men's tennis defeated by Cornell 5-2

ITHACA, N.Y. -- Binghamton men's tennis (3-1) suffered its first loss of the season, 5-2 to host Cornell Wednesday night from the Reis Tennis Center. The Big Red (1-1) captured the doubles point before winning four of the six singles contests.

Sophomore No. 2 Sven Vloedgraven earned a straight-set win for the Bearcats, as did freshman No. 4 Gilbert Wong. Wong raised his record to 18-4 on the season.

Binghamton returns to the Reis Tennis Center on Saturday to face University of Buffalo.
