Binghamton men's tennis topples FDU 6-1

VESTAL, N.Y. - Binghamton men's tennis (14-6) won all three doubles matches and five of six singles matches to claim a 6-1 victory over visiting Fairleigh Dickinson Tuesday afternoon at the West Gym Courts. The win was BU's seventh in its last eight matches.

Senior Brian O'Connor (New Rochelle, N.Y.) scored a 6-1, 6-1 at second singles, raising his season record to 20-6 overall, 14-5 in duals.

"We will need to play better to defend our conference title and maybe this was a step in that direction," head coach Michael Starke said.

Binghamton hosts Buffalo on Friday in its final dual of the regular season.
