Senior captains Brian O'Connor (New Rochelle, N.Y.) and Edwin Gerard (Bayside, N.Y.) combined for a key win at first doubles before winning their singles matches at No. 3 and 6 respectively. In the doubles match, the pair were down two breaks (7-3) before rallying to win the tiebreak 7-3. That victory clinched the doubles point for Binghamton.
"It's nice to get back in the winning saddle," head coach Michael Starke said. "The win at first doubles gave us a great deal of momentum."
Binghamton is off until hosting St. Bonaventure on February 24 at the Binghamton Tennis Center.
