ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Binghamton men's tennis concluded play at the four-team Navy Blue Invitational on Sunday by winning nine of 10 matches against St. Bonaventure. The Bearcats captured all three doubles matches and took six of seven singles matches against the Bonnies. In the three-day event, BU went a combined 31-3. Binghamton crowned seven singles flight champions (out of 8) and three (of four) doubles positions.
Senior Alexandre Haggai won his match to go unbeaten at the event. Haggai didn't drop a set in claiming the No. 1 singles flight.
"All the guys played well," head coach Adam Cohen said. "We tried some new combinations for doubles and they seemed to work out. We are looking forward to our tournament at Princeton this weekend."
