No. 47 BU men's tennis blanks Stony Brook 7-0 in regular season finale
Bearcats (23-1) stretch record win streak to 18 in final prep for AE tourney

VESTAL, N.Y. -- No. 47 Binghamton men's tennis (23-1) took the drama out of what has been a heated rivalry with America East foe Stony Brook (13-5) Saturday afternoon from West Gym Courts, instead rolling to a 7-0 win in the team's regular-season finale. The victory stretched BU's school-record win streak to 18 matches. Defending conference champion Binghamton will now carry the No. 1 seed into the America East Championship next weekend in New Haven, Conn.

On Senior Day, No. 2 Moshe Levy posted a 7-5, 6-2 win in the final home match of his stellar four-year career. The two-year captain and all-conference player improved to 22-7 overall, 16-3 in duals.

"We played well," head coach Adam Cohen said. "It was nice for Moshe (Levy) to win his last two home matches. We are looking forward to the America East Championship next weekend at Yale. Hopefully we can keep our level of play up."

Junior No 1 Sven Vloedgraven dropped just one game in his straight-set win. Vloedgraven is 36-8 overall, 21-3 in duals. Junior Gilbert Wong was pushed to a third-set super tiebreak but prevailed to lift his season record to 33-7 overall, 21-1 in duals.

Junior Arnav Jain kept alive his undefeated dual season with a straight-set win at No. 5 singles. Jain is a team-best 33-3 overall, 22-0 in duals.

Binghamton heads to the America East Championship on April 30-May 2 with an NCAA bid awarded to the winner.
