America East Release

VESTAL, N.Y. -- After leading Binghamton men's tennis to its second straight conference crown, sophomores Sven Vloedgraven and Arnav Jain were selected to the America East Men's Tennis All-Academic Team, the league announced Friday. The pair join four players from conference runnerup Stony Brook on the team, which was chosen by administrators at all nine member institutions.

Vloedgraven has a 3.87 grade-point average in management. He was the America East Player of the Year after leading the Bearcats to 14 wins and the conference title. Vloedgraven went 17-5 in singles duals and also won 16 doubles matches.

Jain carries a 3.65 GPA in economics. He went 22-13 overall in singles and earned all-conference honors in singles and doubles after going undefeated at the America East Championship.

Binghamton defeated Stony Brook 4-1 to capture the program's fifth conference title in seven years.
