East Release A committee of athletics administrators and NCAA Faculty Athletics Representatives chose one honoree in each of the six winter and nine spring championship sports. Each America East Scholar-Athlete was a starter or prominent reserve and carries a minimum cuulative grade-point average of 3.20. Vloedgraven has a 3.88 grade-point average in accounting. He was the America East Player of the Year after leading the Bearcats to 14 wins and a second-straight conference title and NCAA berth. A two-time all-conference and all-academic selection, Vloedgraven went 17-5 in singles duals this season. He also won 16 doubles matches and went undefeated in both events at the America East Championship, steering the Bearcats to the program's fifth conference title in the last seven years.
