Immediate Release: September 14, 2008 CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Binghamton men's tennis sent four players to the season-opening University of Virginia Invitational over the weekend with freshman Gilbert Wong enjoying the most success. Wong won four matches to capture the "D" singles flight. Wong won all four matches in straight sets, including a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Davidson's Arie Hefter in Sunday's title match. Sophomore Arnav Jain won three matches to reach the finals in the "C" singles flight. Jain retired against Sander Gille of Eastern Tennessee State in the first set. Sophomore Sven Vloedgraven went 1-1 in the "B" singles flight and freshman Darren Ng went 1-2 in the "D" flight. Vloedgraven and Jain dropped both their matches in the "A" doubles flight and Wong and Ng also lost twice in the "B" doubles draw. Binghamton
