Binghamton track & field competes at Cornell Big Red Invitational
ITHACA, N.Y.-- Sophomore Michelle Eberhart won the women's triple jump, highlighting Binghamton's showing at the Cornell Big Red Invitational on Sunday. There were no team scores kept at the meet.
Eberhart, who was second in the same event at the Bucknell 5-Way Meet last weekend, posted a winning jump of 37-1 3/4 on Sunday. In second place was junior teammate Nandi Dozier-Lewis (36-0). Also on the women's side, junior Shannon Finnegan was third in the 1,500 (4:46.89).
On the men's side, freshman Jason Santos was third in the 3,000 steeplechase (9:44.83). Sophomore Cory Poepperling was third in the pole vault (15-3).
Up next for Binghamton is the America East Championships this coming Saturday and Sunday at New Hampshire.
