Bearcats compete in Cornell Outdoor Track & Field Invitational

ITHACA, N.Y.- Junior Dayna Johnson (Brentwood, N.Y.) won the women's triple jump and qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships, highlighting Binghamton's showing at the Cornell Outdoor Track & Field Invitational on Sunday afternoon. The Bearcats had four other individuals in the non-scoring meet.

Binghamton's other winner on the women's side was junior Katie Wilmer (North Syracuse, N.Y.), who won the pole vault (10-11 3/4).

On the men's side, s
ophomore Jimmy Massar (Johnson City, N.Y.) won the 100 (10.87), senior Kevin Hall (Glen Falls, N.Y.) captured the shotput (50-7) and junior Kris Yelverton (Vestal, N.Y.) tied for first in the pole vault (15-1). Graduate student Adam Goldberg (New Rochelle, N.Y.) was fourth in the 110 hurdles but posted an IC4A-qualifying time of 14.80.
