Binghamton track & field teams open outdoor season at Dick

WEST
POINT, N.Y. -- Senior Rory Quiller
(West Point, N.Y.) won the men's pole vault with a jump of 16-7
3/4 feet, which met the NCAA Regional qualifying standard. It
was his first meet since capturing All-America honors two weeks
ago with a second-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships.
Sophomore Justin
Halleck (DePew, N.Y.) placed second in the hammer with an
IC4A qualifying distance of 170-4 feet.
On the women's side, sophomore Kim
Williams (Buffalo, N.Y.) won the 100 (12.45), and along with
freshmen Jasmine
Hinson (Beacon, N.Y.), Hana
Wright (Canandaigua, N.Y.) and Deahna
Vinson (Monsey, N.Y.), helped BU win the 400 relay in 49.48.
Sophomore
Katie
Radzik (Mt. Sinai, N.Y.) won the 5,000 (17:43.20) and fellow
sophomore Carly
Gross (Woodstock, N.Y.) won the women's pole vault, clearing
10-4.
Binghamton
heads to the Florida Relays April 6-7. |
