Arnett third in 400, Williams fifth in 200 at ECAC/IC4A Championships
PRINCETON, N.J.-- Freshman Cazal Arnett (Jamaica, N.Y.) placed third in the men's 400 and junior Kim Williams (Buffalo, N.Y.) was fifth in the women's 200, highlighting the Binghamton track & field teams' performances at the ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Championships this weekend in Princeton, N.J.
Arnett, who broke the America East Conference record the previous weekend, tied his own school record with a time of 47.00 in the finals on Sunday. He initially set the school record in the preliminary round on Saturday. In addition, Arnett improved his qualifying time for the NCAA East Regional Meet.
Williams, meanwhile, clocked a time of 24.50.
Junior Justin Halleck (DePew, N.Y.) placed 10th in the men's hammer with a distance of 188-5, but he extended his own school record as well as his qualifying distance for the NCAA East Regional Meet.
Up next is the NCAA Regional Meet, which will be held May 30-31 at Florida State University.
