track & field competes at ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships
men's 4x400 relay team record school records

Quinn and the men's 4x400 relay team each set school
records, highighting the Binghamton track & field teams'
performances at the ECAC/IC4A Indoor Championships. The two-day
event, which was held at the Reggie Lewis Center and hosted by
Northeastern University, concluded on Sunday afternoon.
Two weeks after placing fifth in the 5,000 at the America East
meet, Quinn clocked an eighth-place time of 14:23.34 in the same
event on Sunday. In the process he broke the school record of
14:26.58 set by sophomore teammate Jeff
Martinez last year.

Smith and Andy
Haupt as well as sophomore Casey
Gilbert were fourth overall with a time of 3:11.30. In
the prelminaries on Saturday, however, they had the fastest overall
time and broke their own school record with a time of 3:10.44.
The old mark was set two weeks ago at the America East meet,
when they recorded a time of 3:11.58.
Elsewhere on the men's side, senior Casey
Quaglia was third in the mile (4:05.90) and sophomore
Helman was eighth in the pole vault.
On the women's side, sophomore Jenna
Marrione was fifth in the pole vault (12-2).
