BU track & field competes at ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Championships
Quiller third in men's pole vault, Ginyard fifth in women's pole vault
PRINCETON, N.J. -- Junior Robb Quiller was third in the pole vault and the men's 4x400 relay team placed third overall, highlighting the Binghamton track & field squads' performances at the ECAC/IC4A Championships on this past weekend. The two-day meet, which concluded on Sunday, was held at Princeton University.
Quiller, who was also third overall at the America East meet last week, recorded a vault of 16-2 3/4. The 4x400 relay quartet of sophomore Casey Gilbert, junior Karl Schnabl as well as seniors Christian Smith and Cazal Arnett clocked a time of 3:10.37. The same four members won the conference title this previous week.
On the women's side, the 4x400 relay team of sophomore Jessica Hennig, freshmen Kathleen Klein and Erika Kisel as well as junior Jessica Conter placed 15th overall, but set the program record with a time of 3:47.43. The old mark of 3:47.47 was set in 2007. Freshman Camille Ginyard, meanwhile, was fifth in the pole vault.
Up next is the NCAA East Regional Meet, which will be hosted by Indiana University May 26-29.
