Binghamton track & field competes at Princeton/Sam Howell Invitational
PRINCETON, N.J.-- Junior Casey Quaglia and senior Caitlin Wright each earned second-place finishes, highlighting Binghamton's performance at the Princeton/Sam Howell Outdoor Track & Field Invitational this past weekend. There was no team scoring at the meet.
Qualgia, who won the 1,500 at the Wake Forest Invitational two weeks ago, placed second in the 800 at Princeton, clocking a time of 1:52.58. Wright, who qualified for last spring's NCAA East Regional meet in the 400 hurdles, was second this past week with a time of 1:02.62.
Elsewhere on the men's side, freshman Casey Gilbert was third in the 400 hurdles and junior Cazal Arnett was fourth in the 800 (1:54.53).
Sophomore Kaitlin Sullivan was fourth in the women's 100 hurdles (15.11).
Binghamton is in action at a pair of meets next weekend. Much of the two teams will compete at the Virginia/Lou Onesty Invitational next Friday and Saturday. The remainder of squads head to the Bucknell Invitational next Saturday.
