View "The Binghamton Advantage"

VESTAL, N.Y. -- "The Binghamton Advantage", a 30 second commercial featuring Binghamton University student-athlete and two-time All-American senior pole vaulter
Rory Quiller (West Point, N.Y.), will debut nationally, January 15. The spot, which was produced and directed by BAZAAR Films Inc., will premier during the men's basketball game against Stony Brook, airing at 7 p.m. on FOX Sports New York.

The commercial showcases the campus and talents of Quiller, the 2006-2007 America East Conference Men's Athlete of the Year. Last season, Quiller was second in the pole vault at the NCAA Indoor Championship and tied for fourth at the NCAA Outdoor Meet. In addition, he also broke the meet record at the NCAA East Regional Championship.

"We wanted our TV spot to capture the spirit of achievement at Binghamton, in both athletics and academics," said University Associate VP for Communications and Marketing Chris Ritter. "We were fortunate to connect with BAZAAR Films, who brought keen insight into how to represent Rory's academic and athletic achievements on film."

The BAZAAR Films production team, comprised of director Jarett Bellucci, producer Chris Penney and cinematographer Christopher Walters, has worked in film and television in New York City and Los Angeles for the past 10 years.
