On the men's side, Jeff Martinez (Binghamton, N.Y.) is from Johnson City High School. This past weekend, he won the overall title in the 3,200 at the New York State Outdoor Track Championships. In cross country, Martinez is a two-time New York State Sports Writers Association (NYSSWA) All-State selection. After being named to the fourth team in 2007, he was a second-team pick as a senior. At the Northeast Footlocker Race, Martinez placed 20th.

Jason Santos (Smithtown, N.Y.) hails from Smithtown High School. He was named second team all-state by the NYSSWA after placing 10th at the New York State Federation Meet. He also placed fifth at the Class AA State Meet.

During the track season, Santos captured the Section 11 title in the 3,000 Steeplechase with a personal-best time of 9:32.90.

Papastrat is also a two-time Section 4 track & field champion in the 1,600. He won the 2008 race in a time of 4:18. His top time is 4:15.7.

Mike Jennings (Bronx, N.Y.) is a middle distance runner from Fordham Prep. His top times are 2:31 in the 1,000 and 4:20 in the 1,600. He will start competing during the track & field season.

“We’re very excited and look forward to working with this year’s men's recruiting class," head cross country coach Annette Acuff said. "This class is exactly what we wanted and needed to advance our programs to the next level in both our conference and region. I believe everyone will contribute significantly as freshmen.”

On the women's side, Lindsay Raulli (North Syracuse, N.Y.) hails from Cicero North Syracuse High School. A state qualifier in cross country, her top track times are 7:08.4 in the 2,000 steeple chase, 4:47.9 in the 1500m and 10:32 in the 3,000.
