Senior Season (2009)

Earned all-conference honors with a second-place finish at the America East Championships
Placed 39th out of 244 runners at the NCAA Northeast Regional Meet.
Won the season-opening Binghamton Invitational in a field of 50 runners
Named the America East Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week on Sept. 14
Placed third in the 5,000 and sixth in the 3,000 at the America East Indoor Track Championships

Named to the America East Fall Academic Squad

Junior Season (2008)

The team MVP.
Named all-conference after his team-best, third-place finish at the America East Championships.
The team's top finisher with a 39th-place performance at the NCAA Northeast Regional Meet.
Won the season-opening Baltimore Metro Invitational in a field of 122 runners.
The Bearcats second runner at the Lehigh Paul Short Run (92nd out of 298).
During the indoor track season, he won the 5,000 and was third in the 3,000 at the America East Championships.
During the outdoor track season, he was fourth in both the 5,000 and 10,000 at the America East Championships.
2008 America East Academic Honor Roll.

Redshirted during the cross country season.
During the indoor track season, he placed third in the 5,000 and fourth in the 3,000 at the America East Championships.
During the outdoor track season, he placed fifth in the 5,000 and fourth in the 10,000 at the America East Championships.

Binghamton's top runner in five races.
Placed 28th at the America East Conference Meet and 18th at the season-ending IC4A Championship.
During the indoor track season, he was fifth in the 5,000 and seventh in the 3,000 at the America East Championships.
During the outdoor track season, he was seventh in the 5,000 at the America East Championships.

Before Binghamton

Won the Section 4A cross country title as a junior and placed ninth at the 4A state meet.
As a senior, he placed third in the Section 4AA race.
A two-time team MVP and All-STAC selection.
A member of the National Honor Society and the senior class president.

Personal

Born March 25, 1988.
Parents are Jerry and Bette Anne Gaube.
Majoring in literature and rhetoric.
His father Jerry was a Hall of Fame pitcher for Binghamton from 1973-76 and his mother Bette Anne currently works in the Binghamton athletic department.
His older brother Tom was on the Binghamton baseball team and graduated in 2006.
Inducted into the National Student-Athlete Honors Society in April 2008.
