Throughout the 2009 season, Binghamton softball players will be featured in up-close player profiles that will seek to provide in-depth information and insight that goes beyond the press releases and media guide.

My biggest athletic thrill: Making an unassisted triple play when I was 9.

Most memorable BU moment: Getting my first college hit.

My pregame superstition: Tying my shoes just perfectly-not too tight, not too loose. Always being early for a game.

What is your favorite part about your sport: Hitting.

My first memory of softball: Having a catch with my Dad and getting a black-eye.

Pre-game rituals: Listening to pump-up music on my iPod. Getting a pep-talk from my Dad before every game.

Favorite professional athlete: Bernie Williams.

Favorite TV sports personality: Phil Simms.

Best sporting event ever attended: David Cone pitching a perfect game.

Childhood idols: Jason Sehorn and Mia Hamm.

The reason why I wear my jersey number: I wear number 12 because it is my favorite number.

Growing up I pretended I was: Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Most famous person ever met: Pope John Paul II.

What do you see yourself doing after Binghamton: Doing medical research and then going to medical school.

Who had the greatest impact on my life: My parents and Gram.

Most people don't know this about me but: I am petrified of cats.

My best non-athletic talent: Shopping.

What's on my iPod: TI, Kanye West, Carrie Underwood, OAR, Jack's Mannequin, Paramore, Yellowcard, Dashboard Confessionals, Lil Wayne, Neyo, Chris Brown, T-pain.

Talent I'd most like to have: To be able to sing and dance.
