Box Score

ALBANY, N.Y.--Senior pitcher Andrea Lindgren threw a five-hit shutout and struck out 10 batters, leading Albany (31-15, 16-1 AE) to a 3-0 win over visiting Binghamton (16-21-2, 7-9-1 AE) on Sunday afternoon in the final game of a three-game America East Conference series. With the win, the Great Danes sweep the weekend series and retain their hold on first place in the conference.

Lindgren improved her record to 17-2 on the season while senior Michelle Weeks (Bunnell, Fla.) took the loss, dropping her record to 6-10.

Binghamton hosts Cornell in a non-conference doubleheader on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
