West Hartford, Ct. - Brittney Stratton pitched a complete game one-hitter to lead Hartford (18-19, 9-7 AE) over Binghamton (6-32, 1-17 AE) 6-1 in an America East conference game on Sunday. Hartford took two of three games from the Bearcats this weekend.

Hartford scored all six of their runs in the third inning. The scoring outburst was highlighted by Kristen Cericola's three-run triple.

Sophomore Deannie Plemon hit her third solo home run in the past four games to break up Strattons no-hitter in the top of the seventh inning.

Junior Cyrilla Suker took the loss for Binghamton, pitching 6.0 innings, striking out eight and only allowing four hits.

Binghamton will head to Niagara for a doubleheader on Wednesday for their final non-conference series of the year.
