Score "We put in a good effort but we made mistakes in our hitting and passing," head coach Glenn Kiriyama said. "We are playing some pretty good competition right now." In the third game, Hartford jumped out to a 10-2 and never looked back, winning 30-20 to push the Bearcats to the brink of elimination. In the final game, Binghamton jumped out to an 8-3 lead, but Hartford chipped away at the deficit and went on to win 30-25. For Binghamton, junior middle blocker Allison Beard (Elkland, Pa.) posted a team-high 18 kills. Sophomore Jennifer Smith (North Tonawanda, N.Y./ North Tonawanda) had 10 kills and 20 assists.
