Kane's double-double leads BU Volleyball to win at Hartford
Bearcat senior registers 13-kill, 12-block performance in 3-1
win

WEST HARTFORD, CONN. -- Senior Jacki Kane (Centennial, Colo.) posted a double-double with
a team-high 13 kills and a match-high 12 blocks to lead Binghamton
to a 3-1 (24-30, 30-21, 30-27, 30-21) victory over Hartford in
America East Conference volleyball action Friday night at the
Sports Center.
With the victory, the Bearcats stretch their winning streak to
four matches and improve to 10-12 overall and a perfect 3-0 in
conference play. The Hawks remain winless in its first two conference
matches and fall to 7-12 on the season.
Kane finished the evening without committing an error for a .500
(13-0-26) hitting percentage. Second-year middle Dawn Lammert (Sussex, Wis.) was
right behind Kane with 12 kills, hitting at a match-best .579
clip (12-1-19).
First-year setter Lindsey
Mueller (West
Bend West, Wis.) recorded a double-double of her own with 33
assists, 14 digs, and four blocks.
Binghamton registered a season-high 18 blocks compared to the
Hawks' eight. In the last two matches, the Bearcats have combined
for 35.5 total blocks.
Erin Macro
led three Hartford players to reach double figures in kills as
she had a match-high 17 kills.
The Bearcat road trip continues in Stony Brook on Sunday afternoon
