Immediate Release: October 11, 2009 Lejia had five kills in each of the first two sets before putting down six in the decisive final third set to give BU the victory over the Hawks. Binghamton made quick work of Hartford, beating the Hawks 25-14, 25-14 in the first two sets, before taking the third set 25-22. Junior hitter Michelle McDonough tallied in with 12 kills and seven digs and hit at a .458 percentage. Junior Sandra DeVito added eight kills of her own. Junior setter Lindsey Mueller dished out a match-high 33 assists. Binghamton outhit Hartford .476 to .078. Binghamton will next take on UMBC at home on Friday. |
