Mueller named America East Volleyball Rookie of the Week
Freshman setter leads Bearcats to two key wins over UMBC

VESTAL, N.Y. -- First-year setter Lindsey Mueller was named the America East Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honors for October 22. The freshman played a big part in Binghamton's pair of key conference victories over the weekend against UMBC.

Mueller recorded double-doubles in both matches and has now recorded double-doubles in four consecutive matches and 19 times this season. She averaged 12.14 assists per game over those two matches, as well as 3.57 digs per game and 1.29 blocks per game.

Next up for the Bearcats will be a Tuesday date with Metro Atlantic opponent Siena (17-4, 12-0 MAAC) before back-to-back road conference games on Friday, October 26 at Maine and Sunday, October 28 at New Hampshire.
