Volleyball The volleyball team split two matches for the second straight day at the Robert Morris Colonial Classic in Moon Township, Pa. On Saturday, BU lost to the host Colonials, 3-0, and defeated Howard 3-0. Against Robert Morris, the game scores were 25-30, 30-19, 21-30, 20-30. Junior hitter Allison Beard (Elkland, Pa.) led the offense with 12 kills. Sophomore Anne Crocus (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) had 10 kills and five blocks, senior setter Amanda Breitfeld (Allentown, Pa./Central Catholic) handed out 34 assists, and sophomore Jennifer Smith (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) chipped in 16 digs and three aces. Against Howard, the Bearcats rolled to a 30-21, 30-20, 30-19 victory. Smith collected 16 kills and 10 digs, Breitfeld had 25 assists, and sophomore setter Glorimar Ortega (Naranjito, Puerto Rico) produced 24 assists. "We played better as a team against Howard," head coach Glenn Kiriyama said. "We had good passing and setting and our .423 attack percentage was the best of the season thus far. It was a pretty good all-around match for us." The
