Binghamton travels to Siena for non-conference matchup
Bearcats look to bounce back after a rough trip to Georgetown

VESTAL, N.Y. -- The Binghamton volleyball team will take their talents east on Interstate 88 to play the Siena Saints Wednesday night. The match will be the first of two non-conference games for the Bearcats before they begin conference play Oct. 3 against UMBC. BU will be in Syracuse next Wednesday Sept. 29, versus the Orange.

The Bearcats are coming off a disappointing road trip where they competed in the Georgetown Classic. BU went 0-3 during the tournament, losing in straight sets to Georgetown and Furman. Binghamton showed some resolve against East Carolina, in their final match of the tournament, but eventually ran out of gas in a five-set thriller. It was the first win of the season for the Pirates.

Binghamton is 7-2 all-time versus Siena, defeating the Saints in straight sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-22) last season.
