Volleyball After jumping out to an 11-4 lead in the first game, Binghamton was unable to hold on to its cushion. The Seawolves deadlocked the game at 26-26 and scored the last four points to take the game 30-26. In the second game, Binghamton and Stony Brook were tied at 27-27 before the Bearcats score the last three points to take the game and even the match at one game apiece. From there, however, the Seawolves would take the next two games to take the match in four games. Binghamton trailed by only 27-23 in the third game, but the Seawolves scored three of the last five points to take the game. In the fourth game, Stony Brook jumped out to a 16-7 lead and never looked back, winning by 11 points. Michelle Heck led the Bearcats with 10 kills. Sarah DeClemente had a team-leading 11 digs and 35 assists. Allison Beard had a team-best four blocks (one solo, three assists). |
