Basketball Post-Game Quote Sheet
Syracuse 68, Binghamton 65
December 30, 2006
Head Coach Rich Conover...
On the game:
"Today was our second straight close loss, I though we gave a great effort today but we're looking to win games now. We have gone through some adversity this season and have played well but everyone in the locker room is ready to win one now. I was proud of us today we could have put our heads down late in the game but instead we kept playing."
On Syracuse's run late in the second half:
"We got a little loose with the ball on a few possesions, Syracuse extended their defense and we had some loose passes that got away from us and turned into layups for Syracuse."
On Muffy Sadler's play:
"The game that Muffy had today is indicative of the type of player she is. She did a really great job today of leading the team and knocking down big shots."
Freshman guard Muffy Sadler...
On the team's play despite injuries:
"We're all stepping up our play and getting used to our new rotations."
On starting the game and playing for 40 minutes:
"It was tough but both Shea Kenny and Rebecka Lindgren gave me alot of advice during the game and helped me keep my head up."
